Michigan State University has the best study abroad program in the country with more than 200 programs annually across 60 countries. While MSU students can participate in any study abroad program (viewable through the MSU Study Abroad Office), the Department of Telecommunication, Information Studies and Media offers the following TISM-specific programs:

1. Film in Britain
2. New Media in Europe (2012 - No New Media in Europe for 2013)
3. Technology and Culture: Communication and Games in Japan
4. ICT for Development: TC 488 ICT Global Corps Field Study
